About Gretchen

Gretchen’s passion for East Bay real estate began in 2010 when she purchased her first income property in North Oakland. Since then, she has invested in other properties across the east bay and Northern CA. Shortly after getting licensed in 2013, she began her career as a Realtor®. Since becoming licensed, she has handled over $160+M in sold transactions. She proudly holds the National Association of REALTORS® Green Designation, and was a member of the Top Agents Network, as well as the Climate Action Committee at Oakland Berkeley Association of Realtors®.

Gretchen was raised by a REALTOR® outside Boston, MA and after receiving a BA from Harvard moved to California where she learned how to invest in and manage properties while working in La Jolla, CA for Torrey Pines Property Management (TPPM). In addition to managing residential and commercial property at TPPM, she assisted the firm’s CEO in building custom homes, buying and selling investment properties, and investing in unique cash-generating opportunities.

On a daily basis, she truly enjoys helping her clients through what may be one of the most important investments and transitions of their lives. She believes in providing her clients with the utmost care, attention, and support throughout the home-buying or home-selling process. Her approach is serious, measured but also fun. She feels lucky to practice real estate in such a vibrant and beautiful part of the world.

When she is not working, you can usually find her doing projects at her house or hanging out in one of the local parks in Berkeley, where she lives with her two children and dog. She enjoys camping, hiking, music festivals, and trying new local restaurants. She loves being able to practice real estate in the East Bay and for the people and places it affords her to meet.
